Horse Riding in the Blackdown Hills (Project Phoenix)

Recent press release and the exhibition launch of Project Phoenix at the 7th August Honiton Show generated a high degree of interest with over 100 route guide booklets given out with promise of feedback.

All 5 circular routes are now suitable for horse riders, mountain bikers and walkers alike.

A limited number of route guide booklets are now available from the Blackdown Hills AONB, and from some local shops within the next few weeks.

Smallridge Antiquarian & Field Society

The next meeting of the Smallridge Antiquarian Society will take place on Tuesday 25th May at 7.30pm in All Saints' Village Hall, when our speaker will be Mr. Bernard Hughes, giving a talk and slide presentation entitled 'Inland Waterways of England and Wales'.  This will be followed by the A.G.M.  Visitors are most welcome to attend for a small fee, which if you decide to become a member, will be deducted from your annual fee.  Light refreshments are also provided.  We will then be taking a summer break and resuming in September.
