Cogs – STOP PRESS – Here’s an Important Update about Our Meetings

🚂 Last Meeting 🚂

At our June meeting, Cogs members and visitors were treated to a fascinating and hugely enjoyable talk by Barrie Hedges on the old Axminster to Lyme Regis Railway, giving in-depth detail of the history of the line, with forthcoming events including a proposed walk along the Cannington viaduct.

🐵 Next Meeting 🙈

At our next meeting, and as trailed in the latest Parish Magazine, we were scheduled to welcome Karen Stead Dexter, who was to give a talk on “Toxic Cosmetics”.

Unfortunately, she will not be able to visit us as she has become poorly.

However, a certain Mr. Michael Shaw (of this parish) is stepping up to the plate and will deliver an equally interesting and informative talk about being a vet. Those who know Michael will know it will be a fascinating afternoon.

So thank you Michael for stepping in and our very best “get well” wishes to Karen.

Do come along, everyone is welcome, with the usual tea, cake and lots of lively chitchat.

See you soon. For more information about Cogs or the programme please contact either

Next meeting – 14th July, 2026 – 2pm at the All Saints Village Hall
