Welcome to the Quilters
All Saints Quilters meet every Thursday morning during school term time in All Saints Village Hall to sew, help each other out with projects and exchange ideas for new ones. As a group we enjoy sewing for a number of charities – Quilts for Baby Basics, Linus and Quilts for Care Leavers. Also, let’s not forget Boomerang bags for Plastic Free Axminster. We love reasons to sew!!
Every 2-3 years we hold an exhibition of our work. The last one in 2023 raised over £2,500 for the Children’s Hospice South West.
During lockdown the members worked on making quilt blocks of their houses, which were later assembled and framed and is now displayed in the Village Hall.
We are a friendly group of 22 with a wide range of sewing skills and interests, currently full and with a waiting list. The chair of the group is Kathy Adams.
