Hello everyone,
For all those of a nervous disposition, two-legged or otherwise, some thoughtful residents have asked me to let you all know in advance that there will be a short period of firework activity on their property for a few minutes just before 10pm on Saturday, 11th July.
This will be centred on the immediate Alston area although perhaps the effects of more dramatic devices may be felt a little further afield.
Hopefully all those who might be affected by this information can plan in advance and climb under the duvet, shut the the curtains, turn up the stereo, sing the Hallelujah Chorus loudly or whatever you feel might work best, knowing now that it should pass in just a few minutes.
