🌞 Litter Pick Update and Other News

All Saints Parish Council – Environment Group

The Community Litter Pick planned for Saturday 11 July has been postponed.

With the roadside verges now very overgrown, it is better to wait until later in the year when it will be easier – and safer – to collect litter. A new date will be announced soon.

Although the litter pick is postponed, the Environmental Group has plenty happening over the coming months.

Coming up:

🌻 Village Show – Saturday 18 July

Come and visit us at the show on the Environmental Group stand. We’d love to meet you, hear your ideas and tell you about the projects we’re working on. Ask us about these upcoming events. Get involved!

🌍 World Café Community Event (planned for the autumn)

Another informal opportunity to share ideas and discuss practical ways we can care for our parish and environment. More details and date soon.

♻️ Proposed visit to the Exeter Energy Recovery Facility

We’re gathering interest in a visit to learn how non-recyclable waste is used to generate electricity for local homes and businesses.

🥾Guided Walks

We’re hoping to organise a number of local walks, including:

● a walk with The PRoWlers with a view to volunteering with them – more information on our stand at the Village Show

● a walk with the Tree Warden – learn your poplar from your oak… and more

● a nature walk with local expert Mr Edward Wells

️🧭 Parish Nature Map

Help us build a map celebrating the wildlife, habitats and special places that make our parish unique.

The Environmental Group is always keen to welcome new members and volunteers. You don’t need any specialist knowledge—just an interest in nature, the environment or our local community.

Small actions really can make a big difference when we work together.
