Hello everyone,
I know the village only held its fortnightly pop-up pub event last week but just to let you now that there is also going to be another one held this week on Friday 3rd July, at the same time, 7.00pm, in The Pavilion.
As well as the usual banter, libations and nibbles, this Friday’s event will see The Windy Bowers attempting to entertain you and get your legs, feet, arms and possibly the rest of you moving too, hopefully in the same direction, to a selection of jigs and reels.
For those of you with Australian or Egyptian affiliations, apologies as this clashes with their World Cup Knock-Out match being held at the same time but what else could put the rest of you off from coming along?!
The weather is looking good too so, if cavorting mishaps do occur, at least there is a soft landing available on the playing field – please also note that dancing clogs will not be compulsory!
