A New Trophy
In response to a request from the family of the late Michael and Hazel Jordan, who wanted to donate a trophy to celebrate and remember their parents’ love of horticulture, we are delighted to announce a new trophy.
The Michael and Hazel Jordan Memorial Trophy
will be awarded to the winner, in the opinion of the judge, of
The Best Bloom in the Flower Classes 🏆
So, in addition to competing for accumulated points in those classes, there is another opportunity to win, based solely on one extraordinary bloom! We extend our thanks to the Jordan family for choosing All Saints Village Show in their wish to memorialise their parents locally.
Free gardening gloves 🧤
We have a number of gardening gloves to give away to eager visitors to the afternoon Show! Early bird catches the worm, at the entrance desk in the Village Hall….. while stocks last!
Raffle prizes
This year’s raffle is as amazing as ever and includes, gardening equipment from our ‘anon’ benefactor, a Seaton Tramway Explorer ticket for four, a £20 voucher from Barleymows Farm Shop, a voucher from Burrow Farm Garden, a unique, locally made ceramic item, foodie goodies, and much more, thanks to our generous supporters. It’s the final countdown!
With just a couple of weeks until the All Saints Village Show on July 18th, we hope that your entries to the Show are nearly complete or ‘coming along nicely’!
Remember the final deadline – Completed entry forms need to be received by Michael Shaw, Hilary Pritchard or Lynda Porter, in an envelope with the fee, by 8pm on Wednesday 15th July, as per the instructions in the schedule.
A couple of other reminders:
- the Show remains a cash event, although visiting stallholders may have the capacity to take card payment for their products.
- 2025 Trophy winners- please return your trophy (engraving updated if possible, please) to one of the committee members listed in the show schedule, by 1st July (or thereabouts) or contact Melanie Aplin on 07443 005027 who can arrange to have it collected.
