Back in Neighbourhood Watch mode, it’s been a while since I’ve had to send anything out concerning theft from property.
Things went quiet over Covid when the criminal fraternity seemed busier working from home and trying to scam everyone instead but I have received word through the local grapevine that there have been a couple of nocturnal visits to the parish in recent times with the theft of items from property as a result.
So may be worth checking that your sheds, garages, etc. are kept secured to reduce the chances of your strimmer, chainsaw, drill, bike or whatever ending up changing hands as a cash sale in a distant pub car park somewhere.
