Archery sessions are every Tuesday afternoon at 2pm on the Old Cricket Field in All Saints.
Reliably, a good number of archers turn out for an afternoon of shooting the arrows and shooting the breeze.
This week was a good (though breezy) session but with the added highlight of a beginners session later in the evening; It was the annual visit by the Axminster Women’s Institute who like to “come on down” and “try their luck” at a new skill.

Ken Vile (our club leader) said this…
“A very enjoyable meeting yesterday afternoon.
Special thanks to Cec and Mike B for helping out and tutoring with the evening event.
I believe it is important , for the short and long term future of the club, that we are able to support these type of events.
We may or may not get any new members as a result of the evening but, as a minimum it does provide the opportunity for Axminster to be aware there is a local archery club.”
So why don’t YOU give it a go. All equipment provided, and you’ll probably even get a biscuit and a cuppa.
