Archery – 25th March 2025

The Archers are back. And we don’t mean the long-running tale of everyday farm folk on the Home Service (Radio 4 to the youngsters) – but the Archery Club is back in action for the new season.

Tuesday saw the first meeting of the 2025 season and had a good turnout. The weather was fair, no wind and some warmth in the sun. The tea break led us to drink tea, eat biscuits and chat about life, the universe and everything (as usual), but specifically to put forward ideas for the David Lench Award Competition for this season. Also discussed was what the Archers might do for the September Gala event to commemorate the end of WWII.

Here are a few photos of the afternoon. Click and image to see the caption. And don’t forget… if you want to give Archery a try, come and visit us any Tuesday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm and you would be welcomed.

PS. Don’t ya just love a Christmas Jumper in March – Well done KV 😉
