This year is 80 years since the end of World War II. To commemorate and celebrate this significant anniversary, All Saints Parish Council will host a community-wide event later this year.
The themed event will focus on honouring the sacrifices made and celebrating the ultimate victory over tyranny.
We are inviting all our local special interest groups to participate in making this event truly inclusive.
Weather permitting, the event will begin as an afternoon fete style entertainment, with time to have a picnic, then moving into an evening gala featuring music and entertainment themed to the era. Refreshments will be available.
So, start thinking about what you might wear, dust off the Glenn Miller 78s to get yourself in the mood, track down some Camp Coffee and SPAM and save the date in your calendar.
Join us in celebrating our community’s talents and really honouring this anniversary.
Date: Saturday, 13th September 2025
Time: 2pm – 11pm
