HOSPISCARE Breakfast Fayre Tombola… and Paddington

Hello everyone,

Not content with packing out venues across the length and breadth of All Saints parish with her tales of derring-do on the trail to Machu Picchu, Irene is already planning her next trip and setting out on another round of fund-raising for HOSPISCARE. This time, she and her daughter Millie are planning a 12 day trek across the Himalayas to the Taj Mahal although more details to follow in due course – at least they won’t have to face guinea pigs on the menu this time round!

To kick start her fundraising for this latest venture, Irene will be at the village breakfast this Saturday, 12th July, running a tombola stand which is quite fortuitous as I have nearly run out of the all the beauty and bath products that I seemed to win at past events she was running, the effects of which I’m sure you all must have noticed! She will also be running a raffle for a cuddly Paddington Bear and a beautiful Paddington Bear bag as well so, if you have any spare change lurking in your piggy banks, down the back of the sofa or wherever, please bring it along on Saturday and try your luck – that would be great and much appreciated.

Finally, don’t forget that Irene will also have a presence at the Village Show the following weekend on Saturday 19th July where she will be showing photographs and sharing her amazing experiences on the trek across Peru to reach Machu Picchu so another opportunity for anyone to learn more about her South American adventures e.g. what exactly does guinea pig taste like?!

Thanks,

Michael
