Recycling at the School

You may have noticed an oversized, green postbox-like structure peering over the hedge at school.

The school has teamed up with Astra Recycling, a small business which owns around 500 textile banks across the South, raising money for schools, charities etc. whilst diverting textiles away from landfill.

This is a free service. Astra have provided All Saints Primary School with a textile bank and will pay for every kilo collected!

We would be delighted if local residents came to the school and donated items outside of normal school hours (Monday to Friday 08:00-17:30), at weekends or during school holidays.

The All Saints Parish Council are happy to support this recycling initiative run by the school. Activities like this fit well with the Council’s objectives and we hope that you will find it useful having this facility on our doorstep.
