Next Saturday, 13th September, sees our WWII 80th Anniversary Gala taking place at the Recreation Ground and Old Cricket Pavilion.
As you may have seen in other communications, there will be a lot going on for you to enjoy and take part in.

The afternoon is a real mix of family fun and games followed by a bit of nosh at around 5pm. From 6pm we switch to our Evening Proms; Music to while away a September evening, all voiced and played by our very own parish talent. Don’t forget to bring a bit of cash for drinks and grub as we can’t take cards due to the lack of broadband and mobile signal.

Obviously, the outdoor afternoon events are subject to the vagaries of our great British weather, so let’s keep our fingers crossed. The Evening Proms will go ahead regardless, but if rain does stop play, then it will be held in the All Saints Village Hall, rather than outdoors at the Recreation field.
So we look forward to seeing you on Saturday and let’s hope that your Teddy doesn’t need a raincoat.
