Hello everyone,
I’m sure that you have all been aware of Irene Wilson’s mammoth fundraising efforts taking place over the last several months, raising money for her HOSPISCARE trek to Machu Picchu, with events that have provided great entertainment (even if she’s not quite sure what a pedigree dog is), much fun and laughter, with Irene’s always-smiley face in the midst of it all.
However, the moment of truth is nearly here and she has asked me to send this message out to you all as a final appeal to help her reach her target sum. Such a worthwhile cause and such a small amount so, between us, I’m sure we can give her a final push to reach that well-deserved finishing line!

It is now only 2 weeks until I head off on my epic trek to Machu Picchu in aid of HOSPISCARE. I really can’t quite believe it is almost here already… As I have said many times before, I feel very blessed to live within such a supportive community, and wanted to say a HUGE thank you again to everyone who has attended one of the fundraising events, or donated items for tombolas/raffles or given your time to help out.As I edge ever nearer to the trek, there is less than £300 needed to smash through the target amount.
I would like to make one more appeal to you kind and generous people, and ask that if you are able to make any donation, no matter how big or small, it would be hugely appreciated and make such a difference to the work HOSPISCARE are able to do.
