All Saints Village Show – 2025

It was another fantastic show this year!

Here’s a message from Liz from the All Saints Village Show Committee

Saturday July 19th 2025, a sunny forecast (but not a heatwave, phew!), 77 participants with 449 exhibits, and plenty of enthusiasm in the air. Just what the Show Committee had hoped for!

The village hall once again, looked resplendent, decked out in bunting, flowers, fruit and veg, along with cookery, eggs, preserves and drinks; a snapshot of the talent in this Parish.

The calm after the mayhem but before the storm!

Additional talent in the form of art and crafts, photography, fun classes including the now popular limericks, displayed in the church and school,  completed the exhibition and gave the visiting judges plenty to consider. We thank them for giving their time and judging skills so generously.

The afternoon activities included demonstrations from Rousdon Spinners and All Saints Quilters, while Friends of the Church ran a successful fund-raising tombola. Plastic Free Axminster, Ann’s book sale, and owls from Sharandy’s Birds of Prey populated the playground, and Irene Wilson had tales from her fundraising exploits in Peru last year. Topped off with cream teas, music from Dave and Katie, and the opportunity to win big prizes in the raffle, the afternoon hummed along and was enjoyed by many.

Our favourite ‘Postie’ Mark Massey, got a resounding welcome from the assembled gathering, in his role as Guest of Honour for the prize-giving ceremony. Congratulations to all the prize-winners, whose names appear below. There are also a few snaps of the day.

So, a big thank you once again, to everyone who took part in any way at all. Your participation and contributions are what
All Saints Village Show is all about.
