I have had a report from a Churchill resident that they returned home on Thursday night to find that their mailbox at their gate had been pulled right off the wall and onto the ground. The flap was also hanging off which suggested that the perpetrators were after the contents but, as it was empty when found, it is not known whether there were actually any in there at the time.
It may have been just a one-off random attack but, in case someone wants to repeat the event, might be worth keeping an eye on your boxes and checking them sooner rather than later after Mark or whoever has done their rounds to reduce the possibly of theft.
