Hello everyone,
I have just received a message from a villager concerning two men seen riding a pony and trap around the lanes quite slowly, looking over gates and eying what might be around.
From personal experience I know that there is a horse and trap sometimes seen around here on our local lanes so this may be the same one and all totally innocent but nevertheless a timely reminder that we do experience opportunistic people coming through the village and looking for anything worth stealing and not uncommonly going on to do just that.
Worth checking your property – metal objects in particular have often been targeted in the past.
