I have been asked to circulate the following information about a cybercrime awareness talk being held this Wednesday morning, February 3rd, and you can see full details of location, time, etc., in the flyer below.
I know that this means crossing the border over the hill into Membury but, for those of you new to the village, visas are not required and the local natives are very friendly.
Mick Harrison is a Cyber Protect Officer with the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and will talk about how to avoid becoming a victim of on-line crime and promote the many preventative measures available for individuals and organisations to take and so help them from becoming a Cybercrime victim.
I recall that he gave a talk to Cogs just before the first lockdown and went down well so this one could be very useful and informative too.
