Water Supply Problems – Update

Just to inform all our Parishioners that the Parish Council are in contact with South West Water regarding the mains water disruption and have an official case number registered.

We were contacted by the school this morning and there is a quantity of drinking water outside the school reception that they are saying is available to parishioners who need it, as the school is currently closed. Please limit yourself to two bottles until we have a more regular supply available.

In addition, our Chair has been in contact with Richard Foord’s office (our MP) and they are chasing South West Water, on our behalf, to offer a bottle supply facility at our Village Hall.

There is still water available at Chardstock Community Hall for those who need to and are able to get there.

We will update the communications platforms as soon as we hear any news.

If you know anyone who vulnerable and is in need of bottled water, please contact the council and we’ll make sure a delivery is made.

Thank you.
