Linda Ledingham, our Parish Clerk, has asked me to pass round the message below to you all concerning the cancellation of the planned Coffee Morning at The Pavilion on Monday next.
Obviously this is a disappointment as it would have been the first event to be held in the ‘new’ pavilion but, as you can see from her message, there will be three other opportunities in March to come along and see what’s been happening there. From what I read in the latest newsletter delivered today, it sounds like it will be worth the wait.

With rain of biblical proportions it has been difficult to organise our Pavilion Events. Due to the continuing very wet conditions in the field we are sadly having to cancel our first Coffee Morning of 2026, planned for 2nd March. Parking is very limited and there is a safety issue with the muddy and slippery ground. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Hopefully, if the weather improves, we will be able to hold the following events.
- Pop-up Pub 13th March 2026 at 7pm. Bring your own drinks, £1.00 per person.
- Fish and Chip Supper 20th March 2026 at 7pm. Standard Fish and Chips £11 per person. Bring your own drinks.
- Pop-up Pub 27th March 2026 at 7pm. Bring your own drinks, £1.00 per person.
The Pavilion is good to go, we just need some dry weather!
