Hello everyone,
This is still August, right? I’m currently trying to recover from the shock of discovering a couple of days ago that John Lewis now has Christmas trees, decorations, garlands and wreaths available on its website but, happily, after a few shaky hours, my mental anxiety, palpitations and general trembles had just about subsided. However, I’ve now seen the first Christmas food magazine for sale in Tesco’s today, while Steve has also sent me the message below about the next Panto to circulate to you all, further hustling the festive season into view again.
After writing this, may need to go and have another little lie down in a darkened room until inner turmoils subside once more and normal service can resume again, at least for a little while. Fortunately, it only refers to the read-through meeting taking place next month but I suspect before I know it, I’ll be circulating news about the actual event – where’s the year going?!
Thanks,
Michael

Hi Everyone,
It’s that time of year again – Oh Yes It Is! On Monday 23rd September at 7pm in the Village Hall, we will be reading through our next pantomime script –
Aladdin and the Cave of Wonders Blunders.
Anyone wishing to be involved in any way, shape or form is invited to join us on that evening. If you don’t wish to act but just help front of house, back stage or in another capacity, you don’t need to read on the night – just come along and listen.
If you’d like to rekindle your acting skills or try your hand at being on stage for the first time, you’re more than welcome.
There will be some refreshment to help us along the way so I hope we’ll see lots of new faces.
Thanks all.
Steve Holt
